Curly is one of our E's (Ecuadorian crabs). He and his fellow stooges were rescued from Wal-Mart when they attracted my attention with their unique noise. Kind of a "squee" for lack of a better term.
Despite his name, Curly is the more mellow of the E's. He gets around alright, but he hasn't had any confrontations, and hasn't been the tank wrecker that his fellows have been.
Scratch that...Curly has taken up the E tank wrecking habit. His favorite pastime seems to be filling either water dish with sand!

Curly was the victim of a shell fight in September 2006. We thought he was down molting again and by the time we found him (in a too small shell), he had almost completely dehydrated and did not recover.
